This is one of the latest in George's mystery series featuring British detective Thomas Lynley. Although it certainly is a wonderful book on its own, you'll enjoy it even more if you've read others in this series. George's characters have depth and are never stereotypes. Her plots are well crafted and have plenty of surprises. Her writing is graceful and rich. I highly recommend any of her books, and I have read them all.
