Journal Entry 3 by Brookler from Powell River, British Columbia Canada on Tuesday, November 21, 2006
I chose this book on the basis of its first line, from the Bohemian Wrapsody Bookbox: "I can't do it". That could have meant anything, but seemed mostly to indicate some kind of suspense. Yep, it looks like some kind of murder mystery. I only hope it doesn't degenerate into horror or get too scary for me!

I started this book with a certain amount of trepidation, but was relieved to find that it was very exciting without sliding into horror. I really enjoyed this book and had a hard time putting it down. Just the kind of book I like, with great characters, a complex enough plot, lots of surprises, and edge of your seat excitement! This was a pick I'm very happy with.
Sent surface mail to svoight in Tennessee USA for my April Surprise Wishlist RABCK. Hope you like it!

Borrowed from bookstogive to read. This was another good one by Johansen and I really enjoyed it. I will be reading more of her books.
