I am really glad that I gave Holden another try, because I liked this book much better than Simply Divine. On the down side, there is one logistical error toward the end (see if you can find it!), and the trio of relationships Rosie gets into are all kind of unrealistic. In fact, the romantic plotline gets in the way of the best part of the book; the "comedy of manors" is hilarious. Samantha and all of the residents of Eight Mile Bottom are so funny that I laughed out loud more than once.
