Yet another book I picked up cheap and never read.

New Zealand short stories, should be good.

Picked up at the October Wellington Bookcrossing meeting at Blend, Wakefield Street.

I've read some of Elizabeth Smither's poetry as part of a course requirement. Unlike most poetry I've encountered, I found it largely accessible. Looking forward to seeing if her short fiction is equally readable.

Typical of most New Zealand literary short fiction I have read. I won't say if that is a good thing or a bad thing (it depends on your taste).

Taking to the Wellington meet-up.

Chosen at the Wellington December meet-up - this time it was a barbecue at Lizzie-P's house and a very good evening it turned out to be. Three brand new bookcrossers - how cool is that? Good food, good weather and great company.

Not really my sort of book, mainly because I don't really like short stories nor do I like poetry and this has reminiscences of poetry. Perhaps because the author does write poetry that is highly acclaimed but not by me alas.

RELEASE NOTES:

I'm taking this book to a mini-mini meetup occasioned by Irish BXer Nut's visit to NZ to holiday with her sister BXer Juchini, also Irish.

RELEASE NOTES:

Not truly a mystery spot. I took it to a mini-mini meet up in Zuchini's flat in Wadestown arranged when her BXing sister Nut was visiting from Ireland. A small but very convivial gathering.

I specially recommended this to Nut as I thought she should 'meet' a Kiwi author.

Picked up at Wellington/Dublin mini-meetup. Thanks!
I'll bring this back to Ireland and pass it on at one of our meetups.
