Received this book from my boss to give me the big picture of the Semantic Web.

An excellent book which explores how and why the WorldWideWeb came to be. What makes this book more than a history lesson is Berners-Lee's well-written insights on making an engineering dream come true, from creating pet projects to worrying about standards and networking. This book also gives great lessons on how a technical revolution must happen for it to be successful. Once you've read this book, you'll never look at the Internet the same way again.
