This was a nice book but not as good as 'Even Vampires get the Blues' which comes along later in this 'series'. I don't think you can really call it a series either but apparently there is a reading order.
I liked the storyline and the characters but found it a little longwinded and complicated at times. However I can't wait to read the next one :)

Thanks Amberkatze! I've been looking around for Kate MacAlister stuff but this will be my first - looking forward to it!
Okay, a bit less meaty (bad pun)than the vampire fic I'm used to, and terribly terribly debauched (made my husband blush!), but good fun, if not a Mensa Mindbender of a plot.
