I am taking this to read in airports and on the plane and will drop, probably without chance to review, someplace along my travels to St. Louis and to Michigan.
Excellent treatment of an emotional subject. Well written and compelling story.
I found this at "the Bookie Joint" bookstore in Mammoth Lakes CA. Great name for us book junkies.
I have never been to a Bookcrossing gathering, but this afternoon I am going with a friend (I introduced her to Bookcrossings) and I will pass it along there.

Excellent book. Well written and compelling story. I am forwarding it to Skinwalker. Its seems appropriate because on of his recent e-mails dealt with issue of bitterness.
Nightmares last night. I read the part where Trudy is listening to
Rainer's storey and he tells of when Hansi is shot. What a surprise that was. Very well written; took me completely by surprise. But I had to stop there. Just could not go on. And all this time Trudy thinks she is the daughter of that ugly SS officer too. She doesn't know who her father is? Or her mother doesn't know. Which is it?
The storey is great. I recommend it highly.
