From Amazon:
"Synopsis
'Hold tight. We are going into a number of dark places, but I think I know the way. Just don't let go of my arm...'

...We meet Gramma - who only wants to hug little George, even after she's dead; a primeval sea creature with an insatiable appetite in "The Raft"; an innocent-looking monkey with evil powers in "Monkey" and a host of other memorable King creations, as he takes the unsuspecting reader on a fantastic journey through the dark, shadowy areas of our innermost fears."

Registered for the Worldwide Stephen King Release Challenge.

A collection of very scary stories. 'The Raft' and 'Survivor Type' particularly stick in the mind as being rather gruesome. I also enjoyed 'Word Processor of the Gods' - very sneaky :-) - and, 'Beachworld' - weird but good - and 'The Reapers Image' - the sort of story I can imagine being told round a campfire. There's something for everyone in this collection of short stories, even those new to King.

I'm planning to release this sometime today for the Worldwide Stephen King Release Challenge.

Released 17 yrs ago (9/21/2006 UTC) at Telephone Box on Pasture Road outside the Charter in Goole, East Yorkshire United Kingdom
