Received today - thanks!
I read this a few weeks ago but haven't been able to write a proper journal entry. Like the other books by Sebald that I have read, it's hard to think about this one in terms of plot or character. It's more like a rambling conversation about diverse topics with non-obvious connections---Thomas Browne, the landscape of East Anglia, silkworms---but with a lot of reflection on history and death. I think I'll need to keep dipping into this one.
