I got this book because it was cheap, I was going on a flight and it's supposed to be a classic of its genre.
Basically it is rubbish. I didn't get the story most of the time. To me it seemed the author was too busy showing off their "spy" knowledge and lingo to focus on writing a decent story as a decent writer should.
I finished it but only because I am an obsessive type.
I got nothing from this book. But that's not to say someone else would enjoy it. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea.
