Rescued from a charity shop. I think there are a few people at Meetup who like this author so I'm tentatively reserving it for release there. Not interested in reading myself - not keen on this writer.

Picked up as a 'left-over' from the York Meet.

I have actually read this before (~12 years ago!) - and back then thought it was utterly wonderful (the film's also brilliant). Unfortunately, due to over-association with an ex-girlfriend, both the book & film are now unfortunately not easily returned to for me personally. But that shouldn't stop future readers from discovering them...!

Actually, I've got someone in mind who MAY possibly be interested... (in the book!). I'll have to ask her. Watch this space...!

If she's not, then I'll probably reserve it for an erotically-themed release around Valentine's Day next year...!

I've not seen the film but from the comments that were floating around about this book I was intrigued enough to pick this up. Sounds like it should be a good read.

This was a pleasant enough read and it only took me a day to get through but I have to confess that its not really my thing. I think I prefer my romance stories to take place as part of a wider story, at least when it comes to books. I will have to get hold of the film though as I fancy watching it now.
