I'm releasing this book as part of the World Breastfeeding Week Challenge!
My guess is that it may be unlikely that this book would make it onto the LLL approved books list, however I found it to be well written and a great illustration of what the decision to become a parent and breastfeed is like for "mainstream" mothers. Often, it is hard for mothers who embrace "alternative" and somewhat "radical to the mainstream" choices to truly appreciate the road a mother with a different perspective, a different support system or a different goal has to take. But this shows how ultimately, all roads lead to similar conclusions and similar experiences and it IS possible to start off with one set of goals and priorities and find your way to another.

A group of LLL moms and our three year olds are taking a train ride tomorrow on the Northwest Metra Line from Crystal Lake, IL. I'll give the other moms the option of taking this book (or any of the six that I'm releasing for the challenge) and releasing it later or we'll "strew" them around the train and stations we visit, perhaps the Des Plaines Library and maybe even at the Choo Choo, in hopes that expectant working moms might find them and read them, go on to have exhilarating births and life-changing nursing relationships and then release the books again!
