Picked up in Oxfam today, had been looking for it after reading The Bronze Horseman (Last seen in Ipswich: http://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/3903831)
I enjoyed the book mainly because I wanted to know what happened to the titular characters. The book gives you more of the thoughts of Alexander, filling in gaps with the help of flashbacks.
Giving to a fellow bookcrosser, who has already read the Bronze Horseman.

Brilliant book... the sequel to The Bronze Horseman. Fills out the story from the previous book and draws you in till the very last minute. the only downside to this book would be the sightly cheesey ending.
