The Catcher in the Rye
4 journalers for this copy...
It's been many years since I read this favorite of my younger sister's, but I do remember enjoying it. This copy bought at a yard sale for release.
Sending this off to kz4ufo, who was a winner in my Celebrate October 2006 RABCK drawing. I hope you enjoy it! :)
I was having a terrible day and said a little prayer that I would get something in the mail to make it a little better and surprise, surprise! I found a package with a jug of maple syrup, a beautiful magnet, a lovely postcard and a Wish book!
Thank you so much for holding the contest! I rarely win anything, so it was a real treat (esp. on my birthday).
THANK YOU, Guinneth!
A postcard view of where the book is now.

The story of teenage Holden Caulfield that has inspired many and raised the red "ban this book" flag for others. Although written in the 50's it still can be considered "edgy" in modern times. A must read for anyone who has ever grown up and quite frankly, wish they hadn't. ;)
Postcard view of some of the ships you'll see dock at Fort Pierce.

Received in the mail today as a RABCK from kz4ufo!
Mailed to BMVCOE today for her classroom bookshelf!
Ah, no high school classroom library would be complete without this classic. Thanks, BlueEllipsis!
