This book is a pile of steaming treacle but most folks in my book club seemed to think it was heartwarming. Just call me The Grinch or Scrooge or some other crank but I found it manufactured and forced. Blech.
I have another copy of this book which I will not part with. This book, in my opinion is delightful. All three stories are interconnected and very rewarding. Great reading around Christmas.
