I got this from a friend in a sort of informal trade (I gave him The Man Who Shot Lewis Vance). The back cover says A serial killer of unprecedented savagery and cunning is at large. His targets: homicide cops, each haunted by a murder case he couldn't crack. The killer's calling card: a quotation from the works of Edgar Allan Poe.

I took this book from Kerttu for my other half to read it, because no one wanted to take it. I probably won't read it myself, because I dislike books with serial killers.

My other half gave the book back to me. He says that every time he starts reading it, he gets stuck, because the book doesn't seem too interesting. Maybe the book has better luck with someone else.
