'When Hitler stole Pink Rabbit' is one of my favourite novels ever. I first read it aged about 11 and I felt a lot like Anna, even though her extraordinary life was so far removed from my own (Thank Goodness) It is based on Judith Kerr's own childhood and is told with a child's blase view of the horror and destruction of war. This trilogy tells the entire story. I have re-read it as an adult, and it still works for me.

Taken from Thing-1's bookbox. When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit was always a big favourite in our family and has been read to all 3 children. I wasn't aware that there were two more books in the series so this is a great opportunity to read them. Thank you :-).
This has been on my bookshelf for ages and I hadn't realised that I had forgotten to write a comment for it - I am sorry. I did enjoy the book and my son borrowed it too for a while. Now it is time to move on and it will be wild released in the near future.
