I LOVE THIS GUY!
June 25th -- mailing to MrBones. 3 is my lucky #, so I had to send you 3 books. Hope you don't mind some Bukowski.

To be completely honest, I don´t mind any freebie books! ;-) And even less if it´s a Bukowski!
By browsing through this book I already learned something. Bukowski was born in Germany - I didn´t know that before! Seems like all the weird guys turn out to be german :-)
So here comes thank you #3! A lucky number it is, indeed!
Cheers

I actually read this book a couple of weeks ago but forgot to make the journal entry right away.
What can I say, this book is brilliant! A semi-autobiographical novel about the early life of Hank Chinaski(Bukowski). Growing up during the great depression in an absolutely terrible family, young Hank struggles with life and falls through the cracks.
Depressing yet beautiful book, everyone should have on their reading list.

Thanks so much for the book Mr. Bones. I really appreciate it.
I've never had someone send me walnuts with a book before =)

This was my first Bukowski book, he came highly recommended, and now I see why. It was a great read. I especially loved the "no happy ending" aspect of it. No closure. It was perfect.
