I borrowed this book from Cestmoi a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed "The Looking Glass". It was a quick, easy read and I was moved to tears (which is not typical for me).

Richard Paul Evans is a wonderful writer.

I'll be giving this book back to her as she hasn't read it yet.

Wonderful story of keeping faith. Hunter Bell was a preacher that gave up on God when he lost his wife in childbirth, he turned his back on his church, his congregation and God. However, as he moves thru the west, looking for his gold strike - he finds that God is always with him and always guiding his life.

When Quaye needed to be rescued from her life and mostly, herself, God sent Hunter Bell to rescue them both.

Great story and although it focuses alot on faith and hope and believing in God; it is not preachy nor focusing on religion. Its a very spiritual story about love and faith.

I really enjoyed it.

This is going to JuneBug31 next.

A beautiful sad story of faith, hope and love. Hunter Bell, a former preacher who gave up on God and his religion after losing his wife in childbirth. He meets Quaye and the story that unfolds will bring you to tears. I'd like to read more of Richard Paul Evans' books.
