A friend is moving out of state and left this for me. I've read a few others by the author, part of this series. Not great books, but quick. I'll give this one a shot.
Umm, I did read it. I just don't remember it. I'm pretty sure it comes between two I had read previously. I hope RoosHill enjoys it.

Fast, fun read. It helps to have read the first in the series (A Kiss of Shadows) to understand the personalities of some of the characters and what some of the "looks" between them all mean.
Not as much sex as the first book, but the plot keeps the interest. I'm glad to see more development of Kitto and Frost, and the ending promises more info about Rhys's mysterious past and powers.

I love Merry Gentry! This is the 2nd of a series of books. Very steamy in parts although not as much as the first book. (I do have a friend that says she's up to the 5th book and they are very erotic). I do like Merry better than Anita Blake (the other Laurell K Hamilton series) - she seems a more sympathetic character than Anita. Anita is so conflicted about herself and what she's able to do; Merry is not, although to be fair her 'world' seems more accepting of magic. I did enjoy this and look forward to more in this series.
