On Intelligence

A great read as both an introduction to the architecture of the brain and to Hawkins' theory of memory-prediction. Although the book starts slowly with Hawkins' biography, the rest of the book is thought-provoking. Hawkins has a good informal style to his writing which makes such potentially dense material flow smoothly. His connections to future intelligent computers were also excellent. Bought this book on the recommendation of a coworker.
