I picked this up at a book sale. It looks interesting, but it wont give me an impression of Koontz since he is writing it in the style of an author who inspires him. It still promises to be an exciting book. I can't wait to get started!

All in all a very good read....totally different than any of the other Koontz books that I've read to date. I didn't realize until reading the author's notes at the end that "Icebound" was a reprint of an older version called "Prison of Ice"...and written under the name of David Axton. It reminded me of many of the Micheal Crichton books, although not quite as 'detail' oriented...just enough to add to the storyline and make it believable.
Since this was RABCK'd to me, I plan on checking out a few wishlists, or offering as a RABCK on the forum.
