Thanks so much Pinklady 60 for this as new book that I received safe and sound! I look forward to reading this intense novel told in Dinah's voice and learning more about the traditions and turmoil of ancient womanhood.

October 2006. Boy, am I glad that I live in this time and age! I would not have liked to be in Dinah's shoes at any time. This story is a view of biblical women of the Bible. It made me want to go back to the Bible and study the real truths.

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch and mini meet-up with bookcrosser gisela1602 at our Mug and Bean. I gave her this book and hope she will enjoy it or pass it on to someone who will. Enjoy the Garden Route with your son and I hope you make some precious memories here in the Cape. I enjoyed hearing all about your future dreams - may they all come true and thanks Gisela for all the Alexander McCall Smith books you brought all the way from the UK, just for me!

Thanks for this book readingtrix, and I agree with you. Glad to be living in now and not in biblical times...
Was a bit sceptic at first as I am not religious at all and only know parts of the bible from when I was at school. Nevertheless, this book is a great read and I can highly recommend it to everyone. Could not put it down.
