I feel so sad for Dave as a boy. I give him so much credit for turning his life around. I would also say some of the parts of the book are very graphic to the point my stomach turned as what he went through no human should ever have to go through that. I know it happened long ago, but it does make one aware of the abuse that could go on and if no one takes notice it continues. Hats off to Dave for giving the readers a chance to feel some of his feelings and to put an end to child abuse.
