The Flesh, the Blood, and the Fire
2 journalers for this copy...
From the cover: Late in the summer of 1935, part of a human body washed up on the shore. Over the next 4 years a dozen more bodies - mutilated, decapitated and drained of blood - were found along the waterways and railroad tracks of Cleveland, Ohio. Only 2 of the bodies were ever identified and the killer was never found. One Cleveland detective refused to give up the case. His search would send him down a bloody trail from the depths of the city's shantytowns to the inner citadels of industrial power to the darkest parts of the human soul.
Received yesterday. Another I can't wait to read. Love those vamp books! Thanks!!
Not too bad of a vampire story. It is a story set in the 30's & 40's. Author used the word effen which we all know that it is a fairly current slang for. I might be wrong here but, it threw me and then I was looking for other slip ups. I use to have a friend that would say it is written in the script! Basically, leave it alone. lol But, it is a great throw on the cause of WWII and the Nazis. The last few pages were a super fast page turner!
friend has taken all my old books hopefully will join bookcrossing
