I really enjoy Ben Elton's books.
This one deals with Sam and Lucy - Sam is trying to write a hit movie and Lucy is trying to get pregnant, using IVF. The question is, can their love survive the trials and disappointments effecting their dreams.
A funny book dealing with sensitive subjects. Well written, tender and maybe a little predictable in parts. Still a good read.

yay! this arrived today (with an extra book that im very greatful for!) thankyou so much catsalive. my partner reads these books and he has a few (but not this one obviously) so am interested in reading this author. Im sure my partner will read it too.
