A sort of Pygmalion story, this Regency set historical romance tells the tale of Jenny Penny, a lady's maid and Callum, Lord Argyll. Jenny is the illegitimate daughter of a lord who has a fondness for fine things beyond her station. In order to finance her purchases, she starts selling a facial cream she's made. It takes off far beyond her expectations, but not as a facial cream, as an intimacy stimulant. So she masquerades as Lady Eros when selling "tingle cream." She also masquerades as Lady Genevieve at her employers' instigation when they see her attraction to Callum, Lord Argyll. They work with her to turn her into the lady she's always wanted to be but it's a fine line she walks and if Callum thinks she's lied to him about who she is, he may never be able to forgive her. This is a fun read and an unusual use of the Pygmalion theme.
