Yeah, here it is! This tiny book arrived safe and properly at my place. I still have to read a few pages of my actual book and then this here will be next...
Actually it took me some time, but now I´ve read it during my holidays.
What a nice and heart-warming story! I really enjoyed this book - it makes one sensible for other, maybe different people and helps to understand their minds.

The book is on its way again - direction J-sama...

Journal Entry 6 by J-sama from Leipzig, Sachsen Germany on Tuesday, August 8, 2006
Wohlbehalten bei mir angekommen und da ich ja jetzt Ferien habe, wird es auch sicher bald gelesen sein

Journal Entry 7 by J-sama from Leipzig, Sachsen Germany on Monday, September 4, 2006
Hmmm, somehow I don't really know what to write. Thinking about what I've heard, I expected a bit more but on the other hand I'm not quite sure what it was that I expected. The story itself is quite extraordinary and it is interesting to see how the boys mind is working. Nevertheless some of his thoughts were way to abstract for me to really comprehend, so from time to tim I just started scanning the pages especially during explanations on how the universe is working etc.

As soon as I have the adress of Ophelia1 the book is continuing its journey

Update 07.09.2006
Placed it into the mailbox today

Journal Entry 8 by wingOphelia1wing from Goslar, Niedersachsen Germany on Monday, September 11, 2006
The book arrived today, thanks for sending! I can hardly wait to read it - three years ago I took care of a six-year-old with asperger for a couple of month... But nevertheless I will finish my current book. I am a fast reader, so this will take only two to three days :-)

September 17, 2006:
I loved this book... Probably I will buy a copy for myself :-) I found so much of an asperger child in it I used to know and I am fascinated by the way the author put this into the story...

September 24, 2006:
The book ist ready to travel since I've finished it, unfortunately my PMs seem not to reach cat-i. I've sent four so far... I'll keep trying

September 25, 2006:
The book will travel on today :-))

Journal Entry 9 by cat-i from Velbert, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany on Saturday, September 30, 2006
Arrived savely today. Will start reading tomorrow.

Journal Entry 10 by cat-i from Velbert, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany on Tuesday, October 10, 2006
Hmm, like J-Sama wrote: a litlle bit to abstract for me, and his (very long) explanations about math and his thinking were sometimes very boring. And the story itself, about his parents and what his father had done, very scary, I think...
More fun to the next reader!

Und ab geht die Post nach Bochum

Journal Entry 12 by etilka from Bochum, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany on Saturday, November 11, 2006

Journal Entry 13 by Wasserfall from Wien Bezirk 12 - Meidling, Wien Austria on Thursday, December 21, 2006
ist heute angekommen. Dankeschön, ich freu mich schon!

25.12.: So, ready. I think, the book is a marvelous picture of the English lower class.
And in addition, I envy Christopher a little: straight during the Christmas shopping I somestimes had a large desire to lay on the ground and shout, too!

8.1.: Soleille ist seit 2 Wochen verschollen - jetzt macht sich das Buch auf den Weg zu Kat17

Journal Entry 14 by Kat17 from Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany on Friday, January 12, 2007
The book has safely arrived, thanks for sending - I'll soon start to read it, I've just scanned some pages and now I'm curious to know how I'll like it!

21.02.: Sorry for the delay! I was so busy these last weeks, but actually I finished the book already some time ago - once I had started to read it, I couldn't stop continuing. I think it is really well written and captivating. The most important and amazing thing is, of course, the storyteller and his way of thinking about the world... It was really a special experience to read it and it has certainly "broadened" my horizon. Well, there are some passages in it that are hardly understandable, the thoughts about maths and time, but that didn't disturb my reading. It rather adds to the impression one gets of Christopher, I think. Well, I liked this unusual book a lot, thanks for the bookring! :)

I have sent a message to soleille and will wait some time for her answer now, if I don't have it in two weeks or so, I'll ask the next one in the list...

Journal Entry 15 by soleille from Leipzig, Sachsen Germany on Wednesday, March 7, 2007
Thanks for starting this ring and for your patience with me, that's one of the first books I've put on my wishlist and I#m really looking forwards to reading it!

Journal Entry 16 by soleille from Leipzig, Sachsen Germany on Friday, January 18, 2008
The book had hidden behind my other TBR books and I had totally forgotten about it. I've read it through in one go now and am simply stunned. It's a great mystery story, and I love how we see everything through the boy's eyes...very interesting insights into his world. Also, I was awed by the solution to the dog incident- wow!
Will now contact the animal farm :O) for the address.

Journal Entry 17 by soleille from Leipzig, Sachsen Germany on Friday, February 1, 2008

Journal Entry 22 by Pandamao from München, Bayern Germany on Sunday, April 20, 2008
It was a really nice read. It was interesting to read how the mind of an authistic person works and helps me to understand their behaviour better. Thanks for letting me join the bookring.
