mee naar castricum
'Found' this book at the Castricum meeting. The blurb made me curious, so this book can stay on my mountain To-Be-Read for a while.
Edit 26-02-08: this book is going to be with Mona-lisaa for a while.

Journal Entry 3 by monalisaa from Rijswijk (ZH), Zuid-Holland Netherlands on Friday, February 29, 2008
Wandering gave me this book yesterday because it's on the list of my reading group for april. After reading it'll go back to her.
Well, this book wasn't my cup of tea at all. It's the story of King David (the one from the bible), told by himself when he is old and (almost?) dead. Too much macho, so called humour, according to me. Reading it had one advantage: it made me read David's story in the bible (the new Dutch translation) and that appealed to me much more than Heller's rendering of this in itself quite interesting tale.
I'll take this book with me to the meeting in OBCZ Schlemmer tomorrow, so that I can return it to wandering.
