WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
I picked this up from Therapy Cafe tonight. My husband and I stopped there for dinner after we saw the Rembrandt exhibit at the Dayton Art Institute. Looks like an interesting read.
I rarely read crime suspense novels, but lately that's all I've been in the mood for! This didn't have as many sub-plots as many others I've read lately. It was much more straightforward. I liked it. I really liked the descriptions of Luc Racine and his alzheimer's. I thought that was well done. And I liked the killer's "reason" for killing. That was unique.
What I didn't like was the introduction of totally unnecessary characters. Why are we introduced to the bookshop ladies? And what does Maggie's long-lost brother have to do with anything? For that matter, why bring up Julia Racine? Just odd to have these characters involved for no reason.
I loved the ending. That was fun. :)

I picked this up today in the belltower of the Old Post Office Tower, downtown Washington DC. I love little plot twister, like this promises to be, so I think I will enjoy. I hope to leave it in as fun a place as I discovered it in.
