I read something in one of the papers recently about a Barbara Vine novel and this was recommended. I dug it out and it took quite a long time for me to get into it. This has been away with me to Wooler (in Northumbria), back to Solihull, was finished on the plane from Birmingham to Schipol on Monday and brought back again to Solihull.
