For the NSSEB
This was in my lovely NSS goodie bag parcel from droogie, along with another book, some (lots!) stickers with my name on them, some Cadburys Buttons, a small Fruit and Nut bar, and a note from droogie. Lovely, thank you very much!!! I'll really look forward to reading these books when I get a chance. Sadly, it might take me a while to get to it, but I'll have all the more anticipation because of that!
I *so* want to read this book!!! (But I'd better finish the rings and things I have hre first!) It's a great square-ish book - really lovely! And I love the piccie of the litle guy on the front! Thanks again!

OMG, I LOVED this book! It has taken me only forever to read it, but I actually think that reading it now I have toddlers of my own, I appreciated it more than if I had read it when I first received it. I am definitely hanging onto this for another read. (And with twin toddlers and a shortage of space, books have to be pretty special to earn that accolade these days!)
I read the book on the train and in my hotel room when I was away on a training course, and did not have my own toddlers with me. The book made me laugh out loud, and also cry. It is very poignant and cleverly written. I love how some bits are more from the parent's point of view, and others feel more from the toddler point of view. Life is tough when you are living in a world of legs and have to be lifted up to get to the "good stuff", and this book is a great reflection of that.
Thanks so much again, droogie, I loved this book, and I'm sure I will read it again and again. I am planning to get GaryJ to read it, too!
