Book left in a phone box by Woolworths

It was in my lunch break. I had just finished a really good book two days earlier, and was a little apprehensive about starting another. Anyhow, i went into a phonebooth to make a call, and there it was. Must confess, not the sort of book i would normally pick up, but it was light and easy to read. Also it covered an area of life of which i knew absoloutly nothing about. Arthur, a young man in his twenties, pre war, enjoys life and all it has to offer, even if it's not there for the taking. Easy read, not to taxing.
