This is a book I've been recommending for .. .well, whenever anyone asks me to recommend a book, this is one of them! I've purchased way too many hardback copies of it, and had finally decided I should wait for it to come out in paperback. Well, it finally has, and this is the first one I bought. Now follow along on my thought process:
1. I'm getting ready to go to Germany tomorrow to volunteer at a conference.
2. We'll be in Erfurt, where a BookCrosser I've always liked lives.
3. But when we volunteer for these conferences, we hardly have any free time, so it's very possible I will be a few kilometres from her and might not see her. I really hope that's not the case!
4. In hope and assuming I will see her, I checked out her wishlist tonight. But I don't have any books on it.
5. And then it hit me! I have a paperback copy (not too much weight in the suitcase) of this (this one) that I have just been waiting to share with someone I care about!
6. So I'm registering this with every hope of handing it directly to my friend GirlFromIpanema :)

Oh *blushes*, I was really glad to meet you! We made it, yay! And to share a well-loved book with a friend is something special. I read the first ten pages or so in bed yesterday, and it looks promising. But first I must tackle Mt. TBR (includes two bookrings! I am a "good" bookcrosser :-)).
Got it with some other books.
