One of the books MrPloppy's father brought over for us from the UK - they were giveaways with one of the newspapers or something.
The book started off well, and seemed like it was going to be a nice light read with a bit of humour. But it seemed to run out of steam towards the end, with the comedy becoming a bit forced, and the tone becoming ever more moralistic, hammering home the "drugs are bad, m'kay?" message. Add to that the fact that by the end I'd totally lost all sympathy for the main character, who was just irritating, and by the last third I was just hoping it would hurry up and finish. A lot of potential, but shame about the execution.
