Arrived safely today from my recently acquired birthday RABCK partner Waderwoman. As our birthdays are not until next April and May 2007 we decided to have a Swap straight away.
This title is from My Wishlist so really looking forward to it. Will join Mt TBR for now, but sure I will get to it soon.

A title from My Wishlist as it was a Richard and Judy recommendation. So glad it was on my list as Waderwoman sent it to me and I loved it Thankyou for sharing with me. I think the title was very clever. I love Nancy Mitford and this did remind me of her style somewhat!
Synopsis:Amazon.co.uk
Set in the 1950s, in an England still recovering from the Second World War, THE LOST ART OF KEEPING SECRETS is the enchanting story of Penelope Wallace and her eccentric family at the start of the rock'n'roll era. Penelope longs to be grown-up and to fall in love; but various rather inconvenient things keep getting in her way. Like her mother, a stunning but petulant beauty widowed at a tragically early age, her younger brother Inigo, currently incapable of concentrating on anything that isn't Elvis Presley, a vast but crumblng ancestral home, a severe shortage of cash, and her best friend Charlotte's sardonic cousin Harry... Eva Rice's novel is an utterly engrossing read, in the tradition of Nancy Mitford and I CAPTURE THE CASTLE.

I have found this on the wishlist of fellow bookcrosser Pepita-di-Corfu
I am sending it to her as a RABCK from the 'Just because I want to make you smile relay' on www.bookrelay.com
