The third book in this wonderful series.
Six months have now passed since an invading army attacked Australia. Ellie and her band of teenage guerrilla fighters are rapidly becoming harder, more jaded, less inhibited. Their plan this time is to destroy the port at Cobbler's Bay, a strategic harbor for the enemy.

30/4/06 - Have to wait for the second book in the series (arriving from Christchurch sometime) before I am allowed to start reading this one. I am SO looking forward to getting started as I really enjoyed the concept of the first book. Yes, I know these are written for teens, but sometimes it's just nice for us adults to relax with a nice, friendly read.

22/5/06 - Started reading today.

28/5/06 - Finished reading this book tonight. WHERE'S THE SEQUEL!? Honestly! I looked for about 10 minutes trying to find the fourth in the series - I was CERTAIN that someone had sent it to me. Alas, there are only 3 in the series.

Loved reading this. Similarly to the last book, this one really only had one big major action sequence - I'd prefer that the story continued for ever :) Great read - will be sending this on to another BCer.

29/5/06 - STOP PRESS. Misplaced this book last night and while looking for it I found "The Other Side of Dawn" (the SEVENTH book) - Oh! I'm SO happy! :) Just need to find the 4th, 5th and 6th now.

A very gripping story - even though I've read the 7th book, so I know who survives and who doesn't, I was turning pages pretty fast towards the end of this book! I really like the way the main characters change from book to book in this series, in response to the things they've done and seen.

If you do manage to lay your hands on the next few books in the series, The-Organist, I'll be sending you lots of begging PMs! :-)
