An Artist of the Floating World
2 journalers for this copy...
Kazuo Ishiguro is one of my favourite writers. His is able to describe the quiet saddness of loss and regret.
In this book, writes the story of Masuji Ono, an artist who became a propagandist for Japanese imperialism during the war. But when the war is over and Japan lost, he reflects on his part in the war. This book won the 1986 Whitbread Prize.
The book registered have a different cover. I plan to release it soon at OBCZ Somerset Xu Hui, Shanghai, at no 888 Shanxinan Road.
