It meant that a small force of German paratroopers, were at that moment safely in England and poised to snatch the British Prime Minister, Winston Chuchill, from Norfolk, country, house where he was spending a quiet weekend near the sea.

I must say I LOVED THIS BOOK! From the beginning Higgins caught my attention with his mysterious, kind of detective like intorduction. He intoduces one of the main characters in this book, Col. Steiner, by having a writer come across his grave in a country it shouldn't even be in. When the writer tries to find out why this German's grave is in England, everyone hides the secret. The story continues with this sense of keeping you on the edge all of the way up until the end. Page after page you wonder whether Steiners' paratroops will capture the Prime Minister or not. There are so many twists in this story that you would never think of, and thats what makes it such a thriller. Once the group overcomes one obstacle, it seems as if another is there waiting to jeapordize their mission. I thought this was one of the best books I have ever read, and I would definately recommend it to anyone whos looking for a good thriller!
