I can't believe I forgot to journal this! I read it a few weeks ago, and it's been sitting on my desk - in plain sight - ever since. I've heard good things about Katie MacAlister's books, and this one wasn't bad, but wasn't all that great, either =(

I started to think about which bookring this was and was so surprised to find a RABCK from my wish list! Being a member of RABCK.com and cliff1976 really does work! This was totally out-of-the-blue! Cute book! I seem to be on a vampire bent lately. I just read the first 15 of the "Anita Blake" series by Laurell K Hamilton. Just before that I read the first 3 of the MaryJanice Davidson "Queen Betsy" series. I picked up the first in the Katie MacAlister series before reading this one. This was a nice break after the more intense Anita Blake books. Light and funny, but not dumb like the MaryJanice Davidson novels. I liked it enough to pick up the next in this series! It will be off as a RABCK next, and then probably to the Panera Bread experiment in Jacksonville, FL.

Very cute. I rated this one less than the first book in the series ("A Girl's Guide to Vampires") because of the similarities - but it still was a lot of fun to read!
