i caught the book at the random house book fair, a fundraising event at a local college. in the midst of the event was bookcrossings, which i had become familiar with a couple of years ago but had not yet joined. i saw this book and took it as a "sign," because i had just recently mentioned to a family member that i would like to read it. even though the book has been around for quite some time, i had never taken the chance to read it. well, it turns out my sister died from cancer this year and she was definitely one of the "good people." i will read this book to try and get some resolve for myself.
