I'm in the middle of registering some books that I've had a while, this is one of them. Hope to get a chance to read it soon.

Synopsis from Amazon

The problem with being a bounty hunter is it's all on-the-job training. And Stephanie Plum is still learning the ways to get yourself killed. Take the case of Maxine Norwicki...When Maxine failed to turn up for her day in court, Stephanie was given the task of bringing her in. Simple. Except Maxine's boyfriend has now begun receiving mysterious, coded notes from the runaway that hint at buried treasure. In fact the notes are so indecipherable that Stephanie has to call on the help of Sally Sweet, giant drag queen and code-breaker extraordinaire. And Steph's knight errant, cop Joe Morelli. is also proving useful - although he can't decide what he wants most: Maxine's bounty or Stephanie's body. Meanwhile a friend loses a finger, a mother is scalped, an apartment is firebombed and a store clerk is murdered. And out in the street, the crazy treasure hunt game goes on...

I finished reading this book last night, I couldn't put it down. I've read the first three Stephanie Plum books and loved them but this one was even better. I loved how the character of Stephanie is developing and her relationship with Morelli is brilliant. I wonder how things will end up with them both. Grandma Mazur was hilarious - as always!

I'm going to offer this book on bookcrossingUK soon, so if you're interested please PM me.

Oh naughty me! I thought I'd journalled this book but instead I'd just told my local group about it. Sorry about that! I took Three to Get Deadly away with me so I'm ready to rip straight into Four To Score to find out what happens next.

Fantastic read, really funny and great to read straight after Three To Get Deadly. I just love the characters, especially Granny Mazur and the hilarious Lula and Stephanie of course! Off to the US now.

It just arrived thanks, I have a few bookrings to read first but I promise to be brief!

I really enjoy Evanovich's books about Stephanie Plum. In this book Plum adds another character to her group - Sally, a female impersonator and finds a new nemesis - Joyce Barnhardt, another female bounty hunter. This was another hilarious book with lots of very funny scenes. Besides the usual Lula dialogues Sally's description and vocabulary are just too funny. I couldn't stop laughing every time Lula made Joyce have "dizzy spells" and I hope Joyce will show up in future books just so Lula can deal with her.

Well I am Done with the book and I thouhgt this was one of the finniest book of the series. I was Cracking up with laughter. The way she writes the character Morelli is sensational. This book is a little racier then the others, but definitely one of the best!!
