It was a funny book. I can't imagine someone not knowing how to turn on a stove or how to use a vacuum cleaner. I'm sending it to americanmuse who has it on her wishlist.

I much preferred the Shopaholic book. This one was so predictable and cliche, which is probably what put me off of chick lit in the first place. Not horrible, just the sort of fluff you'd read on a lazy Sunday when there's nothing better to do. All I can say is this character (whose name I've already forgotten) obviously didn't have to take out the insane law school loans I did. No way I could afford to go be a maid somewhere, it'd have to pay pretty damn sweet for me to be able to swing it. Just not believable at all. Sorry.
