This was an amusing (and fluffy) read. It didn't matter that the author was all over the place trying to crack jokes and that you could easily stay a step and half ahead of the plot at all times, because sometimes you just need to read something happy where you know that the good guy is going to win.

This book is part of a bookring. I just got it in the mail this week. Thanks for letting me join the ring. The book looks very good.
This book was very real to me. It was my real life 20 years ago but here in Canada. Therefore it was a little sad at time. I was so glad that in the end Claire was very strong. Yet she was funny at times too. For sure I will read more books by this Author!

This was a nice story - I read it on my morning commutes and enjoyed it very much - thank you for sharing! It was fun to read more about the family that I had gotten to know in Rachel's Holiday!

Got this in the mail today. Will read shortly...have another bookring book in front of it though.
What a great read...lots of laughs too!!! I stayed up late to finish it since I couldn't put it down!!! I've really enjoyed reading about the Walsh family in her other books, Rachel's Holiday and Angels.

An eccentric romantic comedy ... full of wicked humor
I´m a great fan of Marian Keyes. Watermelon had me hooked from the very beginning *-) I confess I couldn´t stand James and was happy with the end!

got this in the mail (quite a while ago now! opps! kept forgetting to log it) in the process of reading it. planning to wild release it in dunedin unless anybody else would like it :)
character of claire is really well developed, i found i could really relate to her thought patterns etc... the end annoyed me somewhat. i thought it would've been a much stronger book had she returned to london having not reconciled with adam, especially from a feminist perspective.
