This is a highly acclaimed novel which I didn't like at all. I found the narrator's tone irritating, and her description of her characters inadequate. And since there is no plot line, there wasn't much to hold my interest. (I only read the entire book because it was a selection of my book group.)
I'm sending it on to a fellow BCer, in the hopes they will enjoy it the way most of the world seems to.

I had a difficult time getting in to this book. I have never read anything else by this author, but would be willing to try another topic matter if the opportunity arose. I will be releasing this on January 20 in celebration of my birthday.
