Treasure Island

I bought this 1968 larger type paperback at a new non-profit UBS in town this afternoon. It's a RLS classic that I have yet to read, and I'm looking forward to it!
I've finished this book, and I enjoyed it. I admit that, because of circumstances in my personal life at the moment, my mind is often elsewhere lately and I probably didn't get as much out of this book as I could have, but I did enjoy it and I do recommend it, especially to anyone who loves pirates and/or adventure stories.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
I left this book sitting on top of the little pillar before the stairs of the old Galt Public Library building. The part of the city I live in was formerly the town of Galt, so named for Scottish writer John Galt.
I am releasing this book as part of KateKintail's Tartan Day challenge! Tartan Day is celebrated by Scots and Scottish enthusiasts around the world on April 6. To learn more about Tartan Day, please visit this website: http://www.scotlandstartanday.com/
Also as part of a new lifetime goal for myself: to bookcross at as many Carnegie Libraries as I can. This is #1.

Note: The book is very hard to see in this picture (sorry!) but I assure you it's there!
My boyfriend found this book in Galt and took it on an exciting trip almost all the way across the country to the beautiful town of Lethbridge, Alberta! There happens to be a GALT museum here so that is a unique coincidence. We both love pirates and so the story has always been a delight. The town here was founded by whiskey traders and coal miners so it seems fitting. I will hide it near the entrance to an old coal mine see who the lucky recipient is!

I just got this book, it was supposed to be hidden at the entrance to an old coal mine but instead it was given to me. I'm excited to jump on the traveling book train, and to read this book.
