Thank you so much Kimmi! The parcel arrived in very bad shape, wrapped in plastic by Royal Mail saying it had already been damaged when it entered the country, but the book is not damaged at all thankfully! There are 28 really pretty Chinese postage stamps on the parcel, I've never seen so many stamps, LOL :)

I will get to reading this soon and will journal again then. As requested on the bookmark I will also send a postcard to your Canadian address.

Thanks again for your kindness!

I finished reading this last week. As a Stephen King fan, I thought Peter Straub would have a similar writing style seeing as they have co-written 2 books, but I thought it was very different. I found it very hard to get into the story, but it had travelled all the way from China so I carried on, and I'm glad that I persevered. By the halfway point, I found it hard to put down. I did find the plot quite confusing at times, but despite this it was a good read and I would recommend it.

Reserved to send to a friend's husband for his Birthday later this month as I think he might enjoy this book, and if he and my friend decide to become members of BookCrossing I think they'd love it!
