An uncharted island, some classified experiments and literally tones of MP-7 weaponry. Yes, Australian author Matthew Reilly has finally returned to the writing scene with his latest addition to the Schofield saga - Hell Island.
Captain Shane Schofield has been called on a classified mission to a deserted island. Because it's his first mission after four months of stress leave, members of his team are feeling somewhat insecure under his leadership - excluding Mother. After being with Schofield on his toughest missions yet, Mother knows that he can handle almost anything else. But no one can even begin to understand what has been happening on this ?isolated' island.
Parachuting out of the Hercules cargo plane, Schofield and his troops land on the U.S. aircraft carrier (called the Nimitz) to find something absolutely shocking. Over 600 U.S. marines are dead.

Picked up the book from Pyrmont Community Center. Finished the book in a day or two. I was about to return it when I noticed another copy. I'm travelling next month, so I might just leave it on the plane.
