Lea Nguyen, computer analyst, and Michael Whittaker, security consultant, are both dealing with abandonment issues from childhood.
Born in Vietnam, Lea is the love child of a Vietnamese mother and a Navy Seal. A war-time affair. She is driven to find and confront her father who is now running for state senator.
As a child, Michael watched his mother and father's dysfunctional relationship tear their marriage and family apart. After his father abandoned them, Micheal, as a teenager, had to watch his mother cry and yearn for him. But he never returned.

Found this at my sister's house. Noticed the "Take me Home" label and decided to investigate. Just think a "Where's George" for books! Great idea. I hate to throw a book away.
