I got this at a GREAT bookshop beside Ottawa's Bytowne Cinema. This shop claims it's a used book store but it actually sells copies of very contemporary books in near-perfect shape at well reduced prices. This book was published in February 2006. I bought it mid-March 2006 for $7. How great to go see a good movie at the Bytowne and be able to buy a cheap, new book at the same time next door.

I've read four or five of the 16 interviews in this book so far. It's very easy and quick reading because of the interview format and it's very interesting. Noam Chomsky is more cynical and sarcastic than I realized. The other interviews had a much more hopeful tone than his.

This book was brilliant. I loved when one of the inteviewees (Amy Goodman, I think, whose interview is amazing) quoted someone who inspiring them as saying, "When I look back on my life, I don't seem to regret going too far, I only seem to regret not going far enough."
